If you fancy an afternoon pub walk in Sussex this weekend, why not try a Black Horse Inn Pub Walk at Nuthurst and benefit from their 2-for-1 dining offer which ends on 5 October.

This 17th Centruy freehouse is offering the cheapest meal free as part of the 2008 Horsham and District Food and Drink Festival which is all part of British Food Fortnight. The Black Horse offers home-cooked, locally sourced food plus a selection of real ales and has a large woodland beer garden and stream.

Remember to download a copy of the festival program which contains full details of the offer. Note that you must take this with you, book 24 hours in advance and that the offer does not apply to weekend lunch times. However an afternoon walk finishing with an early evening meal outside could be just the ticket!

The Black Horse Inn is a free house offering a wide range of drinks such as Harveys Sussex, London Pride, WJ King and Timothy Taylor Landlord.

There are separate Lite Bite and Main menus available at both lunch and evening times, at reasonable prices. Also available are gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options plus an extensive specials board and a separate children's menu.
