The walk offers a choice of start points from pubs in different villages and is available as a high quality pdf leaflet which can be downloaded for free at Chequers Inn Pub Walk.
The Chequers Inn is an ideal place for a refreshment break; it’s over 400 years old, is reputed to be haunted, and has won awards for its real ale. It's therefore not surpring that it features in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2008.
The Syndale Valley has networks of public footpaths and offers wonderful walks (and pubs!). The Syndale Valley walks leaflet created by Faversham Council is excellent and worth the few minutes it takes to download .
